An important part of professional perfumery training is the study of individual components. Students of perfumery spend many hours learning the characteristics of essential oils, absolutes, and synthetic perfumery ingredients.
I am presenting here a set of educational exercises to help you on this journey. These exercises are based on the work of Jean Carles, "A Method of Creation in Perfumery".
