Delicate Cake Accord


These measurements are in grams and would make 1000 grams of concentrate.
If you have a gram scale, you could divide each component by 100 to make 10 grams
To handle the trace components, you would just pre-dilute and adjust the formula.
or you could blend this formula using drops instead of grams as a learning exercise.

Ethyl Vanillin - 50
Isobutavan - 50
Bicyclo Nonalactone - 100
Ethyl Maltol - 125
Vanillin - 125
Methyl Laitone 10% - 450


This accord gives the effect of a delicate, buttery cookie or cake. Has a very rich vanilla, buttery note.
Isobutavan is a beautiful vanilla, and can be easier to work with than the crystals Vanillin and Ethyl Vanillin.
Bicyclo Nonalactone helps provide a creamy body, along with the Methyl Laitone 10%
